CINDY SHERMAN RETROSPECTIVE AT MOMA

Cindy Sherman is without a doubt one of the most important living artists in the world. The challenge for MoMA curator, Eva Respini, was to top her very successful Sherman retrospective in 2008, which featured her ‘Untitled Film Stills’ series. Her new retrospective, which runs from February 26 to June 11, showcases her newest ‘Centerfold’ series. These larger photographs heighten the drama with their ‘vertiginous angles and super-saturated color.’
